During the excursion to the Stromboli volcano you can also meet wild goats that live undisturbed on the mountain.
During the last excursion, our mountain guide Prospero came across various heads of wild goats that grazed the grass in peace.
The vegetation on Stromboli allows them to survive and multiply. The rocky ravines give them shelter from the elements.... continua a leggere

Twice hike!

I had a really enjoyable walk/hike up Stromboli with Fire Trekking Agency.
The upper half and top of the volcano is exposed to the wind so a windproof jacket is a very good idea,(as they adviced), I also took a hat and gloves which I was glad of once at the summit as the weather was unseasonably cold for mid May.
On top of that the sunset was stunning from the top!
